A loft build uses the staircase as its only route up and down, so plaster dust lands on every landing and in bedrooms two floors below the work. We clean top down through the whole terrace, including spindles, carpets and the inside of wardrobes.
Georgian Squares and Victorian Terraces
The 1820s and 30s houses around Gibson Square, Lonsdale Square and Thornhill Square have original timber shutters, panelled window reveals and lime-plastered walls that cannot be wet-wiped. The later Victorian streets off Highbury Fields and Upper Street are more forgiving but have original floorboards with gaps that swallow dust. We dry-extract with HEPA equipment first, damp-clean only what can take it, and vacuum board gaps rather than mopping dust into them.
Clerkenwell Conversions and New-Build Flats
EC1's warehouse conversions and the newer blocks around the Angel and Caledonian Road bring a different set of rules: concierge access, lift bookings, working-hour restrictions and a landlord who wants the communal landing left as they found it.
